Steve Jarvis - Head Coach

Coach Jarvis is the head coach of Farmington High School's girls varsity soccer team. Steve has coached at all levels in Connecticut over the last 10 years and holds UEFA and USSF licenses. He is a former player for C.C.S.U where he was the schools first All-American at any sport at the divison one level! Steve is also a teacher in the Farmington Public School system.
Garrett Ratcliffe - Assistant Varsity Coach Coach Ratcliffe currently holds state and national USSF "D" & "E" coaching licenses and has been certified by CJSA for instructing Goalkeepers. He has been active coaching soccer in Farmington for 10 years at the recreation and travel level for both boys and girls and is actively involved with the CJSA Central District. Most recently, his girl's travel team won the state cup tournament for the fall 2008 season. Coach Ratcliffe also spent two years as an assistant in the men's and woman's NCAA Division l Swim Program at CCSU and is currently an assistant coach for the boys high school varsity swim team.
Jeffrey Sawyer - Assistant Varsity Coach Coach Sawyer is a USSF licensed coach for ages 14 to 19. He has participated as an instructor in skills training academies for girls age groups U-9 through U-13. Prior to becoming a coach at Farmington High School, he coached within the town's youth recreational program for both boys and girls ages 5 to 8, as well as, within the Farmington Soccer Club at the U-9 through U-11 girls travel team levels. He was a member of the two-time New England High School Boys Division 1 champions and was a member of Dartmouth College's NCAA Division I Men's team. He also has three children who have been members of past FHS soccer teams.
Jeff Manaresi - Junior Varsity Coach Jeff was a member of the Avon High School boy’s soccer team ranked second nationally and was a starting member the team that reached the state final in 1991. He played four years at St. Lawrence University at the division III level, being awarded the team’s “Rookie of The Year” honor and helped the team reach the first round of the NCAA tournament in 1995. Jeff has coached the FHS Girls’ Basketball Junior Varsity team for the past four years and teaches Physical Education at Irving Robbins Middle School in Farmington. Charlie Butterfield - Developmental Coach Coach Butterfield played soccer for the University of Hartford where he was the recipient of the following honors: All American, All New England and Conference player of the year. Prior to becoming the developmental coach at Farmington he had coached at all the high school levels in Connecticut. |
